server uses so much memory!!

I had old server two days ago and has a 2 GB memory, and the use was one and a half GB.i worked with this server one year!!
Now I bought a new server.. has 8 GB memory, I see that the server use 6 GB memory in two days!
i did not added new sites or anything unusual to the new server ..
What uses so much memory?
