Hello folks,

(All domains and IPs have been replaced by fictitious values for security reasons)

I created a domain for my server called myxyz.net on IP 10.0.0.10 and another for the my actual hosting site called myhostingcompany.com sharing the above IP.

The idea is that when I get multiple servers I can have:
Server1.myxyz.net, Server2.myxyz.net and so on.

I then created a domain for a reseller called myreseller1.com on IP 10.0.0.11.

Can anyone please explain why any user is able to login on http://www.myxyz.net:2222 as well as http://www.myhosting.com:2222 even though the domains resolve to separate IPs?

I am a bit confused here becuse I thought that a user should not be able to login this way even though when the user logs in the correct domain info is displayed.

regards,

Elkabong

This is because DA listens on all IPs and doesn't do any host name checking... No way to change this AFAIK.
