Serverside filtering with exim

Hi,

If I want to add specific filtering-rules to incoming mail with Exim (i.e. to sort various mails into various mail-folders), it seems I have to use /etc/virtual/domain.tld/filter.

However this file is on a per-domain basis and not a per-user basis. Is there a similar file I can use that will only apply to a specific emailaccount?

Also it seems that the file is overwritten by DA, so I would have to add the filter-settings somewhere else in order for them to be remembered, but I cannot figure out where.

Or - is there a different way of doing this, or maybe no way at all?

You can use the system filter /etc/system_filter.exim

Right.. hm.. that sounds like something we don't really want to maintain on a per-emailaccount basis for our customers though.

So write one filter rule that checks your own filter file set up for each domain.
