Service Monitor incorrectly reports cdp-agent status as stopped

Hello,

I have added R1Soft's cdp-agent to DA's service monitor:

/usr/local/directadmin/data/admin/services.status
cdp-agent=ON

The problem is the Service Monitor incorrectly read cdp-agent status and reports the service as always being stopped (even though /etc/init.d/cdp-agent status shows it is indeed running) and is therefore incessantly trying to restart the process and sending false down alerts.

Any help how to get DA to correctly determine cdp-agent status would be greatly appreciated, since monitoring the backup agent is critical.

Is a name of a running process cdp-agent? There was a solution from John somewhere on these forums, if the names are different. So you might want to try to find it.... or try monit (it's free).
