Setting dedicated IP

I'm wanting to setup 2 SSL based sites.

I've setup a reseller and under that resellers "user" level I've added several domains.
I want to assign two of those domains dedicated IPs so I can install SSL. From the IP management section as admin I've assigned the IPs to that reseller however I can't seem to assign the IPs to the resellers "user" account.

One of the domains in question is the primary / default domain and the second domain is a subdomain (e.g my.domain.ext).

I've followed countless articles on setting up a dedicated IP however the steps either don't seem to apply or I'm doing something wrong. Can someone advice on the steps I need to take to setup a dedicated IP under a reseller for 2 sites?

Server has 5 IPs, 1 shared, 2 assigned to reseller in question, 2 spare.

Once you have them assigned to the reseller you just go to list users then modify user and then change the ip in the dropdown there.

I don't see that I'm afraid.

I setup a reseller eg webf and logged in as the reseller and added the domain under the user level, so in the admin section it says its username is webf. I can't seem to assign them an IP under users.

Ips are assigned to the reseller but the reseller can't seem to assign it because its owned by itself perhaps? Whats the best way to set it up?

This part of DA is a mess and needs to be overhauled...

scsi's process is correct though, but you have to notice the very discreet link which will allow you to assign IPs to your reseller.
Since I've just lost 15 minutes trying to figure it all out again and since this page came up in search, I'm going to list the process in details.

In admin area
  1. Click on "IP Management".
  2. Land on new page
  3. Select each IP you want to assign to your reseller to keep to himself
  4. Select your reseller in the dropdown at the bottom
  5. Click on the "Assign to" button
  6. Click on the reseller's name (it's a link)
  7. Land on new page
  8. Click on the "Login as <reseller>" button

You're now in the reseller's area
  1. Click on "List Users"
  2. Land on new page
  3. Note the sentence which says "Modify your own User data" at the top
  4. Click on that sentence
  5. Land on new page
  6. Note the "Add Additional IP" dropdown
  7. Assign an IP to your reseller... finally!

Assigning an IP to a reseller's domain
  1. Click on "User Level" on the right
  2. Land on new page
  3. Click on "Domain Administration" button
  4. Land on new page
  5. Click on domain which needs an IP
  6. Note the new section which lets you add another IP (besides the server IP) to that domain

Why need additional IP?

As far as i know now DA support SNI and multiple SSL on single IP (also on Server IP).

Did i miss something?

Regards

SNI is not supported on all mobile devices per example and you could want to offer a set of IPv6 to your customers.
