Setting up accounts in Mail (on a mac)?

Hi there,

The other day I started my own domain, which gives me like 100 email addresses to use.
I don't need that many, heh, just a couple.
The thing is, I'm having a hard time configuring these in my Mail app on my mac.
i.e.:
- I can only add one of them, because they all seem to use the same name/pass to log in to the server.
- I tried a number of settings, but the newly created account simply won't receive, although it sends.
- Squirrelmail doesn't show what I send or receive, only if I use Squirrelmail itself to do so.

Is there anyone that can tutor me?

TIA

Frans

You should contact your hosting provider to see if they offer support for MacMail.

If not, then you can google for support.

Is your hosting provider using the DirectAdmin control panel? (This forum is for users of DirectAdmin.) If so, then you may want to look at your help screens when logged into the control panel to setup email; you may be doing something wrong on the server end.

Tnx, got it figured out

Tnx for your reply Jeff, but I figured it out already.
I had to add the @yourdomain to the login name in the account setup.

Still Squirrelmail doesn't seem to catch these mails going back and forth over the servers, but I can send and receive now in Mail (on my mac).

Squirrelmail is simply an email client. Generally once you've seen the email on MacMail it's no longer on your server so squirrelmail won't see it.
