setting up email on outlook

Hello.
I think you are on the wrong forums. This is a support forum for Directadmin admins and resellers, not for end customers of hosting company's.

Just to be nice.....
Normally you do it just the same as on a pc or laptop, there is no difference.

afraid it didnt work. :-(
Things you have to know to setup your mobile email client

1. user name and password must be provided (your email is your username)
2. inbound an outbound mail server must be know ( in DA that is mail.yourdomain.com for both)
3.Ports: 993 for inbound (SSL) and port 587 for outbound (STARTTLS)

Have fun :)

If that still not work, ask your host or a PC forum, as said, this is not a support forum for hosting end customers.

I'm sorry, but when I click "help" this is where I am sent.

Also, I have sent numerous emails to the support email address and have yet to get a response, thus why I posted here. Sorry to upset you.

That might be, but it still is the wrong place. ;)
You didn't upset me. It's only to notify you that only DA license holders are entitled to suppor here. That is because if we would start helping hosting customers too, it would overflow the forum and voluteers here with questions. Not our task. Enough PC forums around for those questions too.

It's not ours or DA's fault that your hosting company tries to make his life easy to link to this forum (knowing this is not the place for his customers) and to not answer support questions.

If that is the case, best thing is to change hosting company.

No hard feelings.

I disagree, I came to the forum to find the settings to use too. Other panels have the settings in the create email section. There is a download IOS settings option, why not desktop mail client settings?
