Hello Everyone,
I am currently looking to deploy an SMTP and POP3/IMAP server to GCP as a docker container. We need to do this to offer my employees/clients a dedicated and secure email service which we have control over. It is important that we maintain our own email servers as this is a requirement by our insurers.
The approach we are looking at is deploying SMTP and POP3 servers as docker containers to our GCP Kuberenetes cluser. We understand that GCP blocks port 25, 465 and 995, this is something I can potentially discuss with our Account Managers however, most likely we will relay to Sendgrid.
Does anyone have experience in setting up this type of infrastructure? I would be very interested in hearing about your experience.
