Having trouble entering the server for my website and before this I had some trouble just getting the home page to upload. public_html not accessible?

What did your hosting provider tell you?

trying to understand what you are saying,
you have a hosting control panel that uses Direct Admin?
and if so your not able to get to that control panel
as scsi stated, your hosting company would have sent you the correct URL to access the DA control panel
