User backups? Reseller backups? Admin backups?
When backups are posted to the message system the message system will send an email to the address noted in the system, if the checkbox setting is made and saved.
You might try multiple comma-separated addresses in that field; I don't know if it works or not. But remember that all messages will result in emails; not just backups.
