Hello
I did a very standard install without changing any configurations and I have the following problems with my e-mail:
1: System messages aren't send to all addresses
These messages are only sent to the standard system e-mail address but not to an e-mail address outside the server.
2: Couldn't receive e-mail untill I used 'tail -f /var/log/exim/mainlog'
I received no e-mail and got the following error in dnsreport.com:
ERROR: I could not connect to one or more of your mailservers:
mail.thastudio.be: Connection closed before I received all my data (state 1). Your mailserver disconnected before it was done! This may be the result of a non-RFC-compliant mailserver or anti-spam program.
After reading some threads with e-mail problems I used the command 'tail -f /var/log/exim/mainlog' (but I don't know what this function does) and all mails are coming in slowly from my fallback mailserver. But did I solved the problem or did I only forced exim to receive the mails and do I have to do this everytime I want to get my mails?
Who knows what I am doing wrong?
Thanks in advance
