Share Folder for Users

Dear guys,

I will set an image folder on my server. The name says, I will put there all my images for my users on the server. Not my image’s of course but general images.

How can I protect that? I want that only my users can reach en use this image. Om my website they can choose the image an use de link. example: www.domein.nl/image/xxx.jpg
The HTML code can be use. The user can link this image on this website. I only want, users who on my server can use it.

I prefer, that they cant download the image. But I think its to difficult to realize that. So I will also glad if I only the link protect from other server.

Summary; only user on my server can use the link to image’s.

What are my possibilities’????

I have try this ReWrite Engin..

But i have still questions.. I have the directory with many image`s.
if I use this engin, i must give each name of the image in this directory. I have at this moment 60 images. Is there any code like: all = *.* which protect the hole directory?

I want protect hole directory, so they dont download the images.

The code in the link I gave should do just that... All you have to do is add every image extension that you would like to protect (and since there aren't a lot of them that can be viewed without additional software...).

Yes, you can make the changes to the httpd.conf file.

Not of the top of my head. I think you can add a variation of the .htaccess code so it handles all directories in /home and all domains, or you make the change in the httpd.conf template directAdmin uses.

Hi,

I have used .htacces It protecs hotlinks. So nobody can see your picture from another server/domainnaam. Bu the visitors can still download the images..

How can i protect that. I dont want they download my images.

Any idea?
