Is it possible to there 1 ip (not the server ip) with more than 1 reseller? If not, maybe a nice feature request. I see that more people want to do it.

Where can I mark it? I only see shared option for ip at reseller level. when I mark it there as shared all hosting accounts of the reseller can use it, but not a other reseller.

Hmmm... you're right. I guess I'd never tried it and just presumed it was there :( .

Perhaps DA staff can give us some insight.

DA was designed for a Reseller having full control over that particular IP and not letting other Resellers having access to it.

You can set multiple resellers to use it, you'd just need to add it to that particular Resellers /usr/local/directadmin/data/users/reseller/ip.list file after he's created. Once it's set to shared, it's shared for any reseller with it in his ip.list file.

John, I think the question was how to set it as shared.

That's what I couldn't find.

Or will that happen automaticallly when it's installed into a reseller's ip.list file?

Thanks.

Jeff

Reseller Level -> IP Assignment.

Select the IP, click "set as shared".

Resellers have control over how they want the IP to act (assuming it's has 0 users or is free)

Now I've got it ;) .

First add it manually to the reseller's ip.list file. Then set it as shared at the Reseller level.

Thanks, John!
