shared a dedicated mysql server with plesk

suppose i have 2 plesk servers and 1 mysql server. (new release plesk 8 supports external mysql server just like DA)

now i'm adding a directadmin server, can i use that mysql also? just supply the mysql root username and password will do, rite?

Theoretically you could. But you might run into naming issues if both panels use the same naming format (username_dbname).
