hi,

i've just successfully installed DA on new server and configured one site that is running there.

However, when i open URL with server's IP i see default apache message

"Hey, it worked !
The SSL/TLS-aware Apache webserver was
successfully installed on this website" etc

I only plan to host one single website on this machine. Is there way to configure apache/DA such way that when opening server's IP it will show that website ?

Where did you configure the domain? Is the IP# for the user set properly?

What's the domain name? What's the IP#?

server ip: 212.235.65.249
should really display the only website hosted there:
http://www.dateland.co.il

notes: i have only one IP for this server and i want it to be private, not shared, how can i setup this ?

Now I understand your point.

Even though you've got only one domain on the server, the server is still set up to use the IP# as a shared IP#. DirectAdmin requires a "server" IP#, which is shared.

You can make manual changes to the httpd.conf file so that apache looks for the main site at /var/www/html instead of at /home/USERNAME/domains/dateland.co.uk/public_html.

Not in my experience. I think that happens when you update from 1.x to 2.x, but otherwise not.
