Shared IP?

Something looks different. I mave have set something when trying to set the nameserver to 'virtual' and that may need removed. I attached an image of my add user and you can see where it says 'shared IP' I don't know if it is supposed to say this or not. In any cause when I created the user 'webfree' and tried to go to the url http://72.20.1.106/~webfree it is somehow redirecting to http://greglee.net/~webfree.

I do own the domain greglee.net and that is my main site but I can't figure out why it won't display 'webfrees' default index.html file.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I wish there was a way I could RESET DA and start over.

It doesn't forward for me, I get a 404.

Does the /~username access work for other users?

It is forwarding to whatever is shown in the "Server's Host Name" under "Administrator Settings". I changed that to morpheus.greglee.net and added a new user called 'hosting', it created everything fine - but when I go to http://72.20.1.106/~hosting it redirects to http://morpheus.greglee.net/~hosting. The only thing that actually works is http://72.20.1.106 and that points to the /var/www/html

don't forward or load for me in Firefox or IE.

Have you tried accessing them from a different computer, preferably from a different ISP as well?

Edit: Looks like you were restarting apache, now their loading.

yea, it said it had stopped so I had to restart it, I deleted the webfree account, if you go to ~webfree or any other name (that isn't a valid user) you get not found, if you put a valid user in ~hosting it redirects to whatever is in the Admin Settings in DA.

Quick questions. What version of DirectAdmin are you running now, and what was the very first installed version?

Can you provide a screenshot of the admin settings page that you're referring to?

DirectAdmin v1.25.5 - screen shot attached. Something else is my apache keeps stoping, I have to copy the httpd.conf.default to httpd.conf and it will restart. When I add a new user, it stops and won't restart - it isn't running now, because if I put the default config file back, it won't include the user 'hosting'
