Hello everyone,
I am currently working on the plans to move my DirectAdmin VPSes to my own VMs on my Dedicated server that runs ProxMox VE 8.
Currently I am uploading my backups to an S3 provider via my own custum scripts and let DirectAdmin encrypt the admin backups.
I have however had a lot of issues with my S3 provider and I am planning to move to an VPS with lots of storage for storing my backups.
Now I was wondering if it is still needed/adviced to to encrypt the admin backups via DirectAdmin itself if I also use a rclone crypt/decrypt endpoint.
Since dual encryption to me seems like it is not the way to go but I would like to get some advice on this since I would like to use crypt/decrypt to encrypt the files, filenames and folder names.
