Show APF in DA service status page

Hi,

When i add apf=ON to /usr/local/directadmin/data/admin/services.status it says: Process is stopped
I also can't Start/Stop/Restart/Reload APF within DA.
When i start APF using /usr/local/sbin/apf -s it says: iptables: Resource temporarily unavailable

I've deleted APF from service.status page.
Restarted APF with /usr/local/sbin/apf -r

Why doesn't it work with DA?

# service apf stop

# service apf start

# service apf restart

work?

Yes they do... but not from within DA. I get an error but i doesn't say what kind of error.

APF only applies iptables policies. It's not a daemon.

Which of course I should have thought of; I've installed enough copies of APF.

DA can tell you the status of a daemon, but it's not designed to tell you the status of a firewall.
