Hi all !!

In a multi server setup:

I have server A (ns1) and B (ns2)

- If I add the ip of server B on server A, the zones are replicated both ways or do I have to do the same on server B (add the ip of server A) ?
- If I add ip server B on A, zones from A are replicated on B ?

Hello.

If you want server A and B to be each others ns2, then you have to enable multi server on both servers.

If you add th eip of server B on server A dan only the domains of server A will be replicated to server B and not the other way around.

Hello,

In DirectAdmin: DNS replication is always one-way synchronization, it uses a PUSH method. It does not use a PULL method. So if you need a bidirectional synchronisation, the both DirectAdmin servers will need to have a list of hosts replicas: you will need to list server A on a server B, and list server B on the server A.
