Hi! I'm new to DA and planning on migrating a few of my sites from cpanel and i would like to know which would be the system requirements if i want to create a server with about 400 sites.

Hello,

This depends entirely on the density of the sites. Sometimes even a very powerful server may not be enough for one site. In my opinion, it is useful to start with VPS servers and see.

Imagine you have 400site and visitor connection into the site at the same time and each site using 32mb memory, that meant it's 32mb * 400 = 12.8G memory to handle the request.

Other service just using resource same as your old server.

I think VPS with 10 vCore and 64 GB RAM is enough for you.

Hello,

Nobody knows what server will you need. If you already run 400+ sites on a single server with cpanel, then you will probably need a server with characteristics not worse than the old one.
