SMTP server not work, pls. help!!!

I just install FreeBSD 8.2 64bit version /w DA


I use squirrelmail to send an email to myself but it showing an error

Message not sent. Server replied:
Connection refused
61 Can't open SMTP stream.


and I try to telnet localhost 25 is unreachable, pls. help!!!

restart exim

ask your hosting provider
