Software RAID1 with CentOS

Can I set-up software RAID1 with CentOS and can it be done at anytime by adding an HD or does it need to be done during installation?

This is typically done during initial installation.

You can convert your system to RAID1 if you've installed it with an ext3 file system (the default).

We've used this howto to work on RAID, and to add RAID to non-RAID systems.

That said, it takes a bit of patience, and a lot of linux understanding.

And mistakes can destroy your entire drive contents.
