Hello!

Everyone knows that since version 5.3 the Safe Mode is deprecated and from 6.0 it's will removed.

I know that there is a great solution to replace the security layer of Safe Mode that called suPHP. but it's required PHP CGI.

So my question is - there is solution for people who using in PHP CLI?

Did you check mod_ruid or mod_ruid2? It offers some great options for Apache running as the user, limiting access based on the operating system is possible.
