Hi,
I have 2 clients that are unable to see thier websites. Im guessing that thier DNS hasnt updated yet as we changed the i.p of the Name servers 3 days ago.
But as this is the 3rd day i ask if anyone has an idea of what it can be.

I can see their sites fine but some cant.
pr even ping the server.

Thanks
Adrian.

You haven't given us any real information.

Hypothetically, your DNS is either broken or hasn't propagated yet.

To understand why we can't help you, look here.

Like the IP address of the server or even the domains that are giving these two clients problems.

Here is the ip address 216.218.197.130 and I am having problem with http://www.banglatorrents.com domain. I am running vBulletin forum software there. Sometime even I face the problem to view the page. Then it gets fixed automaticly. I tried to use hide ip to get access but it work only on IE. It doesn't work with firefox. Please help me to get rid of this problem.

Thanks

It is working for me now too. But it didn't work for me yesterday. I updated my DNS not too long ago. So what's the solution for this slowness ?

Thanks

Not much you can do, but hope for the best. Depends on a lot of factors, all of which are out of your control.

A DNS change will take between 12-48 hours usually. Keep in mind it will update at different speeds for different people.

So generally if you add a domain and something funny is happening, just wait a few days. Very often it is due to the DNS taking it's sweet time.

anonno,

Are you the server owner? If so, then ask your colo (hurricane electric) how much they'll charge you for more connectivity.

If not, then talk to your hosting company.

Your server is located at Hurricane Electric in Freemont, in Northern California. They offer inexpensive connections, but the connections are rate limited.

If there are a lot of people trying to see the server, it can get slow.

Or it's possible the server is underpowered for the number of sites on it.
