Spam and Trash not being removed...

In Directadmin under Administrator Settings>>Server Settings - I have selected the option "Automatically Purge Spambox/Trash data" after 30 days.

This option has now been in place for over 30 days but the spambox trash is not being removed. Is there some other setting I should be looking at? I am using Dovecot and the latest version of DirectAdmin on FC version 8.

Exactly what setting is that? Do you have a link to instructions?

I would expect when the option is in the user interface that any extra steps would be indicated. It simply indicates a checkbox and to enter the number o days. There was no mention of editing the directadmin.conf file.
 
Chatwizard, Thanks for your response.

I logged into that file and the web interface had already changed the file. I am going to restart directadmin again and see if that solves the problem.
 
I stopped and restarted direct admin. I even rebooted the server.

The spam and trash is still not being purged after the 30 day time span.

Anyone have any ideas or seen a similar issue?
