Spam Folder problem

I've got an interesting problem with my spam folders. This is a fresh install of Fedora Core 3 and the latest version of DirectAdmin, I set it up about a week ago. This was originally running on a different server for over a year but I moved everything via the DA backup utility to this newer server. (maybe something happened with the backups)

Email is coming in fine but email that is getting tagged as spam and directed to be delivered to the users spam box is not getting there. This is effecting ALL domains hosted on this server. I've setup OE as an IMAP client and used squirrelmail but the spam box is empty.

If I go to /home/USER/.spamassassin/user_spam I can see the spam box and it shows spam in the files listed if I VI or CAT the file.

So I'm thinking that this data isn't tying into the IMAP SPAM folder and I don't know what else to do. I've tried whiping out the directories and data to let the system rebuild it but it still doesn't work. I've checked my logs and it says that messages are tagged as spam and are delivered but again there's nothing in their spam mail box in OE (using IMAP) or squirrelmail. I've also tried running the spam.sh and exim.sh and imapd.sh scripts to reinstall the services but that didn't work either.

Any suggestions?

Here's a listing of the permissions in the /home/user/.spamassassin/ folders and at the very bottom an excerpt from my mainlog file that shows it was tagged as spam for a specific user. it's in the spam file if I cat it but it's not in the spambox....

Got it working

Well I got it working after digging around some more and understanding directory structure and how things are linked.
DA appears to create the spam folder correctly if I if I delete or recreate a user but of course I don't want to do this. Something obviously happened in the backup/restore function of DA

I found in the /home/jldurham/imap/dredsdomain.com/jldurham6/mail folder that the spam "file/link" was not linked to ../../../../.spamassassin/user_spam/[email protected] it was just a file which was 0k.

After I created the link I could access the spam folder. It kinda sucks I have to do that on a mass amount of users so if someone still has a suggestion as to why it did this let me know.
