Spam not being blocked!

Oh it does a lot. Just a little example, the spamblocker exim.conf already blocks the ylmf-pc brute-force attemps at an early stage automatically.
And a lot more.

However it seems you're having issues while you are using the newest versions. I don't have any more clues, except maybe try building Exim again.
If that won't work, I hope somebody else, maybe Zeiter, can help you further.
 
It what? brute-force attemps at an early stage automatically? I have tons of people hitting my email addresses and trying to guess passwords to login. I can see it in the logs. Doesnt seem to be stopping much there.

Ye well i just recompiled everything. Still dont see RBL lookups when testing mail sends to the server.
 
I hear ya. The entire spam setup on DA is total rubbish! I just posted about it, see my message "Spamassassin Is Rubbish"
 
Spamassassin is not part of DA, it's just an option you can use on any system, even non-DA system.
If you find the setup rubbish, it's better to make some suggestions for improvement in the request section, then only complaint about things DA can't do anything about. Because Spamassassin is not from DA. ;)
It might also be better indeed you have started your own topic to get a solution.
