SpamAssasin stops unexpectedly

I am facing some problem using SpamAssasin

spamd stops unexpectedly after few hours

Does it stop completely, or just stop answering?

I have same problem it is stop completly and when u run :
service spamassassin status
it is said it is dead but pid file still there

Take the load off spamassassin by running spamblocker for all the domains on your server (unless you've got a good reason not to).
