Spamassassin gives me a lot of headaches.
Problems:
-Although I disable spamassassin for an account on a reseller level, it still puts mail to spam and runs for the account in question
-Although an email address is actually on the whitelist AND SA recognizes this by tagging the mail with WHITELIST, it still moves it to spam (spam has a negative score, while e.g. 10.0 is required to be seen as spam).
-Although an email receives a negative score (from -100 to -1.5), while the cutoff point is e.g 5.0, SA still moves it to the spam folder
-Although I set SA to the setting of never holding back spam, just setting the subject to spam, and disable all adult filters etc, it still writes emails to the .spamassassin file.
You can put all these things in any sort of combination. The version that is running is pretty much the latest. I have been trying these settings for some time now, without any good results.
This thing drives me nuts. Is there any group I can go to talk about my feelings or share experiences
