spamassassin - how to get access

Hi all,

Sorry for the newbie question, but I would like to install and configure spamassassin, but as I have my server hosted remotely how do I connect to it to get it up and running as explained in:

http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=36

I've tried to telnet to it with no success and I really cannot find a way to do it from within Directadmin.

Most servers do not use telnet anymore to connect. You have to have an ssh client to connect.

I suggest if you are new to using unix/linux to have someone who knows what they are doing do it. You can potentially mess alot of things up if you are new.
