I have enabled SpamaAsassin on all my reseller and personal account, but it does not appear to be installed properly.

Instead of giving the normal SpamAssassin config page, it says "Spamassassin Setup" - and then gives the SSH instructions on how to install it. However, it is already installed and running properly on my main domain.

Am I missing something?

install it, and enable it in exim.conf
you can use wael's script ( @how@ ) update.sh in how-to topic

Perhaps. Do you use the standard DirectAdmin setup, or have you followed one of the threads in these forums to make changes?

Did you install SpamAssassin on your DA server using the /usr/local/directadmin/scripts/spam.sh script?

Did you uncomment the lines in exim.conf documented by DirectAdmin?

to be honest I don't even remember installing SpamAssassin - it would have been a while ago.

But I'll check it out and let you know :)

Thank you,

OK i looked into it a bit further, and it appears spamassasin is no longer installed on any accounts. I'm looking into it a bit further to see what happened - as that's pretty weird. I am the only one with SSH control and I havent touched the server in months

That explains why I have been getting a TON of spam over the last week...

despite not showing up in my control panel, SpamAssassin was running, and uncommented in the exim file.

I reinstalled it and it appears to be running fine now.

Wish I had some sort of an explanation for the problem, but at least it seems to be working now.
