I disable spamassassin for a domain - it seems to scan the emails just not fudge with them, if I disable it for a domain I want it to not even run them thru spamassassin at all.
Emails going to :blackhole: also seem to be getting scanned, why scan blackholed emails? Spamscanning should be the last step in the loop right before it dumps the email into an inbox.
That way if spamassassin is turned off for a domain it shouldn't even touch those emails, and if an email is going to a blackhole anyway just dump it don't scan it.
I just disabled SA for a server that was just dying from the load - and now it's fine, load is good. Probably 99% of the email coming into this server is blackholed, and a full 60% of the email is for one single domain, which I disabled spamassassin for hoping it'd help the load, it didn't help at all.
