Spamassassin questions ..

Hi there guys ..

Two questions I can't find the answers for, sorry if they've been answered before.

I set spamassassin to put spam into a "SPAM" folder in the users IMAP directory .. this works great .. but I have to enable each user .. can this be set to turn on and set this action by default? .. plus enable it to all current users (in case i've missed any) ..

Secondly .. does the spam folder empty at any point? .. can i have it remove mail after like 30 days? .. thanks heaps!

Both are doable. I believe both have been posted before in these forums.

I'm not sure how to do the first above, but you can probably find it discussed here in other threads and forums.

As for the second, no the spam folder doesn't empty, but you can create cron jobs to delete email based on it's date.

I did this one a day or so ago .. but users still have spam from 3-4 weeks back? ..

Does this work for anyone? .. and yes my system is Dovecot ..
