Spamd - conflict a user account

Dear guy,

I hva the next problem. I have recently installed spamassian. I works very fine for me. Laatst two days my exim hangsup. When i check the TOP i see a user account processing with spamd.

3662 fagirman 24 8 31188 25m 2212 S 6 2.5 0:00.18 spamd

So this tag see I a the whole time. My server load goes very high.
I kill this manualy by using kill -9 tagnr

Than the server load goes down. The exim works.. no problems.. Any idee what i can do for this?

I have removed all emails in his account.

same here.. its a new problem.. apparently spamassassin get locked in his processing when the user has no space left.. cpu 100% and load get really high until you manuallly kill it.

This account has quota 150 MB, its using 75 MB.
I have purged al his emails..

i getting the problem. I must kill it manually..
ANY SOLUTIONS ????

nop.. but get to my mind same misconfigure with the white/black list os spamd or maybe a strange number in the priority. Or maybe a malformed email, maybe cleaning queues fix that.

/input and /msglog contain all the spooled messages.

Guys,

I have do the next thing:
- Empy all spool files
- Remove the user and create a new account.
I set only his website back

And.. ( I get the some spamd again.

Server load is high and i must still kill the spam manualy.

Can some please help me..

look at your rule sets in /etc/mail/spamassassin/

there may be rule sets that conflict with each other.

i had a situation where i had 2 sets that conflicted with eachother.. 310.pre and 312.pre.. i got rid of 310.pre and it was fixed.

if you are using SARE rules, then remove them and load them back in, except when you do, read carefully the documentation on them to determine what they will conflict with.
