spamd stops after restarting exim

Hello everyone,
everytime when I restart the exim by using /etc/init.d/exim restart
spamd get stops working.I need restart it manually. what could be resaon.how to avoid it.

It appears that your startup/shutdown script turns off spamd but doesn't restart it. To say more would require knowledge of how you installed spamassassin, your server OS distribution, etc.
