Recently I moved all my shared hosting clients to a new server. Many of my customers use GoogleApps for email, and they have edited the default SPF records in DirectAdmin DNS Management.

Afterwords I discovered that the backups of the user accounts did not include the custom SPF records, so that when I transferred the backups to the new server, all of the user accounts in DirectAdmin had the default DirectAdmin SPF records, and the custom SPF records was deleted and not present at all.

Please make it so that the backups includes the SPF record. Thanks!

Hello,

I looked over the code and confirmed that we have intentionally told the restore process to skip the v=spf1 TXT records, but to include other TXT records.

I'll add this to the versions system to see what we can do.

Thank you! If it is of any use for you, this is how my users customised SPF records look like (most of the time):

Code:
"v=spf1 a mx ip4:**.***.***.*** include:_spf.google.com ?all"

When my users use this SPF record, they delete the old default DA SPF record, so that this SPF record is the only one (* replaces the IP address).
