SPF question

Hello:

One of our clients is pointing his domain to our servers but they are having some issues sending mail to gmail, hotmail etc.

They have their own separate mail server which uses [email protected] as the sender email but because the mail isn't really being sent from our servers, the above mentioned services don't accept their mail.

Is there anyway that we can "authorize" their external mail server to prevent having these spf issues?

The SPF record included by default in DA is quite simplistic.

Read some of the SPF threads in these forums, and you'll get some idea.

Or read up at the spf website.

Customized SPF records have to be entered through the shell.
