Squirrelmail Backup

I'm currently attempting to backup all of my e-mails stored in my Squirrelmail account on one server and move to another server, which will use the same e-mail address and such. I have copied the "aaron.pref" file as well as /var/mail/aaron and copied them to the new server. I get all of the mail that was located in the "Inbox" on the other server but I am missing all the mail that was placed in other custom folders and wondering what I am missing. IMAP folders should be in /home/aaron/mail.

The easiest way to move (or copy) email messages (assuming you have IMAP access on both accounts) is to use an IMAP client, set up both accounts and just move (or copy) the messages with the client.

Argh, having some issues. I've copied the contents from /home/aaron/mail on the first server to the second server. I must be missing something as Squirrelmail is not seeing the data. In /var/mail there was is a file called aaron on both servers. I'm not sure if this just stores Inbox e-mails or if it supposedly contains all e-mails but when I copy the file from one server to another, all the e-mails in my inbox re-appear. Please provide any further guidance you may have, I truly appreciate it.
