Squirrelmail + mod_ruid2 + subdomain.domain

If that is the case with only 1 user which was imported, I can only think that there might be a difference in the ownership of the user's account somewhere.
Maybe something is set to user:apache instead of user:access or user:user (also used with mod_ruid2). Did you check that already or compare it with another useraccount which is working (do not compare against a reseller or admin account!).
 
Anyone else got any insights to this? Just got alerted again.

It only happens when we "restore" accounts from a backup (from different servers).... I know it could be mod_ruid2 that's the culprit but I'm sure (and know) I'm not the only one with the mod_php/mod_ruid2 setup... Anyone else encountered this?

The /var/www/html/squirrelmail-xxx/data/ directory has a mixture of apache:webapps, webapps:webapps file permissions.

I've now made the subdomain a redirect to <host>/webmail.... But the webmail. subdomain alias looks more professional.
