squrrelmail problem

I am facing a typical problem with squirelmail on my directadmin servers. When a user logs in to his squirelmail account and clicks on send button to send a email, instead of sending email a windows open asking to download compose.php.

Can somebody help me on this.
I did recompile squirelmail but that didnt work.
Secondly, this is problem is limited to certain networks. Some users from a different network are able to send emails though squirelmail but some networks the above problem comes. Any thoughts on this ?

We're having similar reports; in our situation it happens when the client does a login, and only using Mozilla Firefox, on Windows. We've not been able to replicate the problem on our own desktops, running Linux.

Have you tried a different webmail client?

I have faced such issue with squrrelmail only. I have searched on the said topic on google, but not able to diagnose the issue.
