Hi everyone,

Happy new year :O its now 2010 woo!

Ok I recently moved servers and since I have moved servers I couldnt start my shoutcast radio's on the new one.

Via the panel it wont work however using the command via SSH works

nohup /home/web/domains/ultimate-webhost.net/public_html/mediapanel/files/shoutcast198/sc_serv /home/web/domains/ultimate-webhost.net/public_html/mediapanel//temp/8000_8370197224ae0e74ca96ed.conf > /dev/null &

I can do this on either root or my own username so it looks like no scripts can contact SSH through directadmin.

Any reason why?

Cheers,
kevin.

I have been looking into this further. This worked on my old server however is not working on my new one.

The script basically creates a .sh script to perform the above command. This will not go through. Could this be an SSH permission issue as I restored this aco**** from the old server?

How would we check SSH permissions of a certain user.

If i run this command via SSH manually it works fine.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Kevin.

What does this have to do with directadmin? Your site says it has castcontrol so you should just be able to use that.

As scsi points out, this has nothing to do with DirectAdmin. DirectAdmin has no connection at all with your ssh access. It could, however, have to do with rights/permissions on files you're trying to manipulate; you may need the kind of help you can get on a forum dedicated to either your OS distribution, or to Shoutcast itself.
