SSL: after creating CSR a certificate directly appears below private key. Correct?

I created a self-signed certificate to "erase" an old situation. I deleted the text in the field "Paste a pre-generated certificate and key" and left it blank.

After that I created a CSR, copied it and returned via the home button to the SSL menu. In the "Paste a pre-generated certificate and key" field there is not only a private key but also already a certificate directly below it! Is this what should happen? I thought (reading the manuals) that only the private key will appear and I had to paste the certificate later (which I will get from the vendor). Now I have doubts if the private key I see is the one belonging to the CSR. If not: there will be a mismatch (?) and I don't know where right private key is, if there still is one matching the CSR.

So: does anyone know if it is correct that I see a certificate below the private key directly after creating a CSR?

P.S.
This is a follow-up of another thread, but the problem is slightly different so I made a new thread.

Problem solved. I think it's normal to also see a certificate when creating new CSR. The one created can be replaced with the one you will get from your vendor.
