SSL signed certificate for IMAP and POP3

Hi,

the problem of one ip/one certificate is an Apache VirtualHost related problem. Isn't it?

So, I assume I can have a single SSL certificare for all domains. This works with self signed certificate, but what if I have a signed one? Will it work on all domains even if it's registered for another one? Will it work but client will still warn the user as if something strange is happening?

To have a single ssl cert you would need a wildcard ssl. SSL certificates for email in a hosting environment do not work well.
