SSL certificate on a subdomain = 404 ?

Hi,

I have installed a SSL certificate for a subdomain and I think this has to do with the problem below.

When I upload contents to that subdomain it gives 404, but I can see the certificate working (browser lock, blue flag, port 443).

I'm supposed to load the contents to a specific folder other than the common subdomain folder ?

Got it:

private_html/subdomain-folder instead of public_html/subdomain-folder
