SSL certificate -- unknow issuer

Hi All,



I have a problem with a user's certificate. It seems that the issuer of the certificate is the site itself. I've verified with the customer that the key/cert he received from Verisign is correct. What could be the problem?

He should NOT have gotten a key from Verisign.

There should have been one still in the window where he went to paste in the Cert he should have gotten from Verisign.

If he deleted that key, he'll most likely have to have the cert reissued from a new CSR, and make sure to not delete the key.

Verisign will probably reissue it at no charge if you notify them promptly.
