I have an IP Range on a dedicated box. This is my first box.

204.27.59.18 - 22

I have usnyrhost.com pointed to 204.27.59.18

I have created an admin user which is my name.

Under 'user level' I added usnyrhost.com and it serves pages (via .18)

I enable SSL and tell it to either use the server cert or use a self generated and it comes back with a localhost cert.

http://www.usnyrhost.com/billing/ and clicking on order will get the cert request.

I have 4 clients on the 204.27.59.18, a personal site of mine on .19 and 20-22 is unused.

Whats the correct way to set this up? I already ran through the SSL certificate creatation on site-helper.com. I guess i'm just confused on 'server certificate' and domain certificate. By updating the server certificate it appeared to have no affect on the domain?

Just shared .22 and moved my clients to that range.

Now All I have is admin and my user created account/domain on the server IP.

Heh didn't think that through. Didn't realize TTL on my DNS was 4 hours. So I just killed a bunch of client sites! DOH!

Well I have my site on it's own IP not shared. I generate an SSL certificate and it stays localhost with generation date of 6/10 (day DA was installed).

Any ideas?

Ignore me folks. I'm a bonehead :)

I was under the wrong domain :rofl Went to the correct domain and it worked fine since I have it on its own IP now.

Awesome! Now time to buy a cert.
