Hi,

I've got wildcard certificate, and now I want to add this certificate to my directadmin panel, so mail.mydomain.com (which is my mail server) will use this certificate and directadmin will use ssl etc.. I found a tutorial how to do this but I am not sure how I can get file called .cert ?

Tutorial : http://forum.directadmin.com/showthread.php?t=44519

My ssl provider gave me just .crt file, do I have to convert this .crt to .cert ? also do this tutorial cover all server encryption ?

Thanks

You dont need to convert, if you open it with a text editor you will see it is just text, so you can just copy/rename it for fit your need.

Be sure to have the private key aswell, cause it is needed.
