SSL + IE = Weird Bug

Hi All,
We are using OSCommerce and have outgrown the shared enviroment so I decided to move the site to a dedicated server.
Everything has moved over perfectly but I was having problems and many customers report this problem.
Any forms they fill out and submit while in the SSL channel does not submit properly. For example when the customer fills in a registration and hits continue it returns right back to the same registration screen. Even more frustration is when the customer enters their CC details it returns saying to select a payment method when it is clearly selected as CC. When I take off the SSL the submissions are fine.
This problem seems to only affect a small number of systems. I am running XP pro SP1 and IE6 and had this problem. I upgraded to SP2 and the problem vanished. I also used Mozilla and the problem was not there, it only seemed to be a problem with IE.
The problem was not there before we moved so I am guessing its a problem the new server is causing.

OS - Redhat 9.0 Server Version 1.22.6
HTTP Server: Apache/1.3.31 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.8.19 OpenSSL/0.9.7a PHP/4.3.8 mod_perl/1.27 FrontPage/5.0.2.2510
PHP Version: 4.3.8 (Zend: 1.3.0)
SSL Cert: Thawte

Any other information I am willing to give. Please let me know how to fix this weird problem

As you're saying the problem only exists in Internet Explorer without SP2. (Probaly some patch).

So I don't think this is a DirectAdmin related problem and I don't know how this application works and I think most of the people here. But on the oscommerce forums there are enough people using that package

I posted here because I never had this problem before, I have run the same software on 3 different control panels without a hitch.
I have been told to upgrade the openSSL, I hope this helps

i am also have a problem with a CRM program (php based) whem i am using a ssl conection. I have the same system, RH9 + DA.
