SSL on directadmin login page how?

I'm trying to secure my accounts way better. But for years i'm using directadmin login just with an ip:2222 to login to direct admin. (what i get from my unmanged dedicated server host)

how can i secure this so that the login page and direct admin is connected with an https connection instread of http.

By not using ip address but either server hostname or a domain name.
For example https://server.domain.com:2222 or https://domain.com:2222 and ofcourse Letsencrypt needs to be enabled and certificate created for hostname and domain.

Okay i feel so stupid! I think it was a habbit using the ip always since i had my first server when i was a kid haha just tried the server hostname domain and that worked

a couple years i searched from time to time on how you get the ip itself an ssl.. sometimes you don't have to look far. That's why i probably never found a sollution for that.
