Hi, been using direct admin for a month now.
Today I tried to enable ssl access so that I could use the update licens/DA options in DA.

I followed http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=15
But when I try to connect to https I get:
"Connection Interrupted

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

The network link was interrupted while negotiating a connection. Please try again."

Is there any easy solution for this?
Thanks

Did you make the change in /usr/local/directadmin/conf/directadmin.conf?

Change SSL=0 to SSL=1

Jeff

Thanks for the reply, yes I had already made that change.
But I also have problem with the buildin backup function, but thats not a problem since i use crontab instead, but i would really like ssl to work.

I had restarted DA before, but now I restarted the server, and voila it works! Case closed, Thanks for the help Jeff!

Although this page is encrypted, the information you have entered is to be sent over an unencrypted connection and could easily be read by a third party.

Are you sure you want to continue sending this information?

When I try testing your site I get this message:
Firefox cannot find your server at mydomain
Probably because though you want help you don't give us anything to help you with.
